Pikili: colour--without logos

My submission for TWEWY contest. This is just a scan of the original copy. I'd like to do all the fancy computer stuff, but this contest has caught me in a changing phase of life, making my computer and graphics tablet inaccessible until next month ; ; Traditional media will have to suffice for the time being =\

I took from life like the blog suggested. Most of the characters in the story are lightly based off of my boyfriend and his group of friends. Anyway, here's Pikili, the heroine of the story. You don't actually get to play as her until you've gotten into the story a little bit. And tell me why Square Enix is trying to get to the core of the youth of today to play games where the females are 12 years old wearing a miniskirt. This is as close to the Revolution as you're gonna get, SE. I tried to mix KH anime style with the soft style of Amano. She's here without logos just in case SE is marketing to the younger audience. There will be another upload soon with logos, but it'll be MA. I don't really care much about winning the game but a job or internship at SE as a concept artist would be nice

Characters fight using parkour techniques and Nioid abilities that enhance certain functions within the body. Nioid bots are applied using a NioidGlove which is a robotic glove capable of injecting the Nioid serum, administering healing solution, and monitoring Nioid abilities and functions.

Here's what I got so far in the story for anyone interested:

Your name is ______. You are a 19-year-old underground recruit for the New Youth Subliminal Society. Your job as a new recruit is to carry out missions given to you by your superior officers. You have no past. You have no future. You have no family or friends. The NYSS is your life. Defend it with your might.

Background:

The year is 2023. Every nation is on the brink of nuclear destruction. Hyper-accellerated learning has caused the world to tear itself apart with its own greed. Rebellious groups of young men and women gather silently around the world to solve the mystery of the Head-Gone-Cold symptoms.

Only the youngest and poorest have not been touched by Hyper-accellerated learning liquid known as H.G.C. also known as Head-Gone-Cold to describe the intense chills and ice-blue eyes of the users.

This drug has caused its users to also emmit a different personality--earlier mistaken for a side effect leading to MPD.
The NYSS's goal is to eliminate this drug and prevent the Earth from a premature Armageddon.


Characters:

Pikili - A tanned girl with pink, curly hair and a bubbly personality. What's not to love about this girl, except that you've only seen her from the sidelines until now... You first see her in the NYSS headquarters eating in the dining area. From what you hear, she is part of the special-ops crew where all of their missions are under intense classification.

Vanquish - A 17-year-old guy who has been with NYSS for six years and is your mentor/superior officer. He has dark hair, fair skin, and an I-could-care-less personality. At first he gives you simple missions, untrusting, and eyeing your every move. As things progress, the higher-ups see your potential and he later aids you in advice and becomes your support in times of crisis.

Nyx - A tall, dark-haired 18-year-old who has been your best friend since childhood. His abilities with speed have been enhanced with "Niods," robots that introduce massive ammounts of hypercells to an individual's strongest attributes. Your Niod abilities come in the form of super-human strength.

Harem - This dark-skinned 18-year-old's pride is what got him into NYSS in the first place. Harem is a guy who is all-talk. He is one of your best friends with a Niod ability similar to telekinisis. This kid is also a true "Rags-to-Riches" story, harboring the invention of the Niod-bots at the age of 15.

Lenny - Short man with a short temper. Lenny is a 18-year-old who is always changing his mind. His pride and boistrous attitude gets him into trouble frequently, and, currently, he has two charges against the Alliance for "Jay walking under illegal substances." Oftentimes, his information is wrong or biased, so take care when listening to his accounts.


Trist - One of the five NYSS leaders; her tall, lean physique is due to her amazing abilities as an olympic gymnist and ballerina, and her graceful fighting styles make her one of the most wanted women in the world. She wears glasses and works as a librarian for financial support. She governs the entity of Justice.

Hex - One of the five NYSS leaders governing Life. The caretaker of the society, he is always willing to listen, and he is the most well known leader amongst the society.

Wyvn - One of the five NYSS leaders governing Liberty. He is quiet, and his past is somewhat obsured by rumors. Some say that he is only one of the leaders that has been to prison for life, but somehow escaped.

Opin - One of the five NYSS leaders governing Freedom. Opin aims for diplomatic solutions and rational results. Many who have met him say that he is too much of a perfectionist to take part in the NYSS. However, his open-mindedness with the mass has proved un-negligable.

Estibald - The last of the five NYSS leaders. His job as grandmaster is supposed to organize the leaders. However, no one really knows him, what he looks like, where he goes, or what he does.

Dr. Kassidie - British doctor who discovered Hypercells. She now works for the Alliance's medical facilities researching under martial law to find a way to create Hypercells to age people faster as a biological weapon against the Axis nations.
